We stayed here for one night as a stop over after a lovely Bluebell Pullman birthday treat.
The accommodation is bright, modern, spacious and clean, with your own separate entrance.
The breakfast was very good with garden views, and not rushed.
The family are friendly; Mary arranged a cab to get us to the Bluebell and back on the Saturday evening which was very helpful.
Excellent, thank you - we shall be back!

We stayed at the Rosendale for 3 nights for a wedding in the area & could not fault it! Very spacious & comfortable, Mary & Simon were lovely, friendly & flexible, breakfast we could have what ever we liked at a time to suit us! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Mary! xx

This by far is the best B&B we have stayed in. The accomadation is 1st class with a nice sitting room and on-suite bedroom with doors opening out on to the patio & garden.
The breakfasts were delicious and Mary & Simon made us feel very welcome & helped us celebrate Neil's Birthday.We cannot recommend this B&B highly enough and we will stay here again. Pat & Neil

We have stayed in countless b&bs over the years but few have been up to the high standard of this one. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, nothing was too much trouble. It made Christine's 60th birthday celebration even more special. Thank you both for everything.

We found the Mary Lodge by coincidence and could only stay one night. We arrived pretty late due to traffic, but were received extremely warmly and openly. The rooms are very neat, privacy is optimal and breakfast superb. We would have loved to stay longer ! Thanks a lot !

Had a long stay here this winter ......... absolutely fabulous! Everything new and clean and comfy and in a beautiful situation - a leafy lane but very close to amenities in the village....... nice and peaceful. Mary and Simon and family very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!

Rosendale B&B was absolutely fabulous. We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful surroundings and a great place to stay. Mary and Simon were most welcoming and I'd thoroughly recommend Rosendale B&B.

What a lovely week we have just spent at Rosendale with our little dog Raskal from October 7th 2012. We was made to feel so welcome by Mary and Simon. The rooms were so spacious and was ideal for us, we was so very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful and kept us going for most of the day. We will definately be going back, cant wait.

Rosendale is the most perfect B&B that I would highly reccomend to anyone. We stayed for 2 nights last Weekend 25th & 26th November as we were booked to have Sunday lunch on the Pullman at the Bluebell Railway. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and was greeted with a very warm welcome from Simon. We met Mary later that evening, what a lovely Lady she is. She could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble for her. We were made to feel extrememly welcome.
The accomodation is first class with a comfy bed and pillows to die for. Breakfast was superb.
Thank you Mary for everything your hospitality was first class. We will definately be back...can't wait.

Wonderful loction with perfect accommodation. Better than a lot of hotels. Very friendly with every care taken to make our stay something to remember. Have given out the cards to many friends, cannot recommend enough. Decor right up my street!!!! 18th to 24th March - in the snow, but rays of sunshine in the house! Will be back in the summer! Better than home from home, thanks a million Mary and Simon x x

We stayed here for two nights from 8th to 10th May and wish it could have been more! A warm, relaxed welcome awaited us and Mary could not have been more accommodating. The facilities are perfect - a roomy bedroom with en suite, plus a sitting area and breakfasting room all to ourselves! The self-contained accommodation was of a very high standard and we were free to come and go as we pleased. Breakfasts delicious, with a wonderful view of the meadow and flowering crab apple tree. We will not hesitate to recommend Rosendale for those wishing to visit the beautiful East Sussex countryside.
